We are going through what I can only describe as our last days. We are abusing a tool that presents horrifying cons that completely demolish any potential pros. Generative A.I is releasing millions of tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, wastes 3-5 millions of gallons of water daily, and harms our planets natural resources such as; soils, waters (oceans, lakes, rivers, etc..) insects and animals, and even us in ways we can not fathom! According to The Guardian, it states that "If we keep using A.I the way we currently do, we have a greater than 10% chance to go extinct by 2030." This is why I push this petition to you today. By signing this petition, you are actively aiding in the fight to place restrictions and laws on generative A.I, or better yet annihilate it as a whole. Save humanity, our precious planet, and every living creature on it from the catastrophe that is generative artificial intelligence!
