We demand that Rochdale Borough Council allows the ongoing current project to save and restore Hopwood Hall Estate and all the previous efforts and plans for Hopwood Hall Estate over the last 7 years to continue. This encompasses the work of many volunteers from the local community, as well as heritage professionals, national and international funders and supporters.

We also demand that Rochdale Borough Council, Rochdale Development Agency and Hopwood Hall College reverse their current actions against Hopwood DePree / The Hopwood Foundation, and restore access to the local community volunteers and commit to allowing independent public access to Hopwood Hall Estate.
