Save heritage tree in Bowral home to Brushtail and Ringtail Possums

The issue

A 100 year old Cypress pine on Aitken Road Bowral is being removed by tree loppers from Belrose in Sydney. This tree is the most important habitat on our street. It has a canopy of branches keeping ring tail and brush tail possums safe and dry and several bird nests. It is home to a female possum and her joey - the mother has been in the tree for around 10 years. As we speak half the tree has been hacked off with the rest of the tree being cut down tomorrow. We are experiencing heavy rain and the possums have no way of escaping. We need as many signatures as possible to save this magnificent tree and the innocent and beautiful possums before it's too late.
