Our mobile vending cart has become a familiar and joyful presence — offering cold treats, friendly smiles, and a refreshing break from the sun for families, kids, and tourists. Now, after nearly three decades of service, the City of Destin is threatening to shut down our operation through new enforcement actions and regulations. This isn’t just about ice cream. It’s about protecting small businesses, preserving the unique beach culture that makes Destin special, and standing up against decisions that ignore the value of long-standing, community-rooted vendors.   We ask the City of Destin to: Immediately stop efforts to shut down Gulfstream Ice Cream. Reconsider ordinances or enforcement actions that penalize long-time vendors. Work together to find fair solutions that support local tradition and economic freedom.
