We are going strong and reached 600+ signatures today! Greece is coming together to say "no" to irresponsible development.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, in July 2022, the estimated population of Greece, NY, was 95,328 residents. Of those 95,328 residents, 54.2% are between the ages of 19-64, and 19.2% are 65 years old or older (5.3% under 5; 21.3% under 18). We need to reach these residents and let them know about these proposed developments. Share this petition and spread the word. We need to ensure that our local government leaders hear our voices on these developments. As of 2020, the population per square mile in Greece, NY, was 2,040. These numbers will continue to increase rapidly and strain local resources, sewers, education, and more. Overpopulation contributes to climate change and can cause damaging effects, impacting communities. Overdevelopment leads to stormwater pollution, flooding, higher taxes, traffic congestion, low air and water quality, and community safety issues.
