Scottish Fire And Rescue Service have proposed to “temporarily” strip 10 Appliances from Local Communities. They have claimed this will not have an adverse effect on Risk. 3 appliances will be taken away from Fife. This will lead to an increase in response times and firefighter safety.
Now is the time for the Local Community to make their voice heard!! 
With approximately 2000 houses being built in the Glenrothes area and additional retail and industrial units as well. It is bizarre to think that removing a Fire Appliance from Glenrothes will not lead to additional risk to public safety. 
More Houses = Greater Population = increased Risk

These cuts come into effect from September 4th!! Now is the time to act and have your voice heard!
