As we all know the reason why the Earth's temperature is rising too much nowadays, I encourage everyone to sign this petition to observe measures against deforestation and global warming.

Trees are significantly important in controlling climate as they absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. Besides, deforestation reduces this critical role while releasing carbon back into the air then increases greenhouse effect causing global temperatures to rise.

Deforestation directly contributes to increase in local temperature by reducing tree shade and disturbing local weather patterns. Trees are home to many species and deforestation causes loss of habitats and thus poses threats to wildlife endangering also the ecosystem. Trees assist in regulating the water cycle whose absence may lead to decrease in rain causing lands' vulnerability and increased risk of dryness.

• Promote logging activities including farming ones that do not create much loss or degradation of forests.
