RE: SAVE DRURY SHOPS
A massive thank you to everyone who came to the Saturday meeting, asked questions and stood outside with their  toot for support signs. It was an amazing display of Drury’s  community spirit. 
Thank you to everyone who signed the petition. Waka Kotahi (NZ Transport) has requested to see them all.  Fantastic effort!  Due to all our combined efforts we have opened some new discussions up that were frankly over. The transport minister, David Parker has the power to stop our Drury shops from being demolished by simply transferring the plan to widen Waihoehoe Rd to the South side. This will also save millions in taxpayer dollars. So please join us in emailing David  with your feelings on the matter
