Save DMV: Urge CBS to renew for a second season

Save DMV: Urge CBS to renew for a second season
The Issue
Recently, CBS had just been cancelling Watson after a second season and the television sitcom DMV after only one season.
DMV is a television sitcom that stars Harriet Dyer, Tony Cavalero, Molly Kearney, Alex Tarrant, Gigi Zumbado and Tim Meadows, and created by Dana Klein, who previously created the short-lived television flops Friends with Better Lives (2014) and 9JKL (2017), both multi-camera sitcoms, who was also executive producer via Kapital Entertainment, Trill TV and CBS Studios.
The show premiered on October 13, 2025 and it was ended on May 11, 2026 after a first season.
The show follows the workers at the East Hollywood DMV. Collette, a driving instructor, tackles workplace problems, romance, and interpersonal connections with her coworkers. The show is a fictional account of the DMV, but makes the jokes that most people have when going to renew licenses and forms.
DMV had suffered from low ratings, especially after a poor lead-in for one of the best television sitcoms ever, The Neighborhood (who had just concluded its run) on its Monday night timeslot, after the dismal failure of Poppa's House, the timeslot's predecessor, and a poor lead-out to the crime drama from Dick Wolf, FBI, and at first Watson, and later CIA, after the production delays of CIA has been settled.
DMV is a single camera comedy that CBS hopes it was meant to be a spiritual successor to both The Office and Superstore, among other single camera comedies, unlike most other CBS sitcoms, like The Neighborhood and Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage which rely on multi-camera.
I had urged and pledged CBS to save the show, and made a chance, so they can renew it for another season.
So sign the petition to save the show, so to ensure that DMV could continue for another season and hoping that DMV's journey to continue for another chance at making the show better!
