The Deptford, NJ Chuck E. Cheese location is scheduled to receive the 2.0 remodel on November 21st, 2022. This means the animatronic characters,  which are beloved by the staff and the community, will be smashed to pieces and left to rot in a dumpster. The walls will be repainted a dull beige, and the store will lose all of the charm it has now. Instead of the animatronics, a video screen wall will be installed, which contributes to kids' already worrying screen time habits. Please, help save these characters. They are loved dearly. The staff dresses them up for holidays, and make sure they're always well maintained and taken care of. Kids adore the animatronic stage, and so do the parents that also grew up with them. CEC corporate will make the worst decision of their lives destroying these bots and remodeling this store, and we need to let them know how bad their mistake really is.
