Save Daniel Pascoe!

The Issue

Dr Dan Pascoe is a maternity cover lecturer in the Archaeology Unit of the Arts and Humanities Department at the University of Southampton.

During Dan’s time with the department, he has formed close relationships with both staff and students. He has improved the department's teaching standards in both maritime and terrestrial archaeology, bring new viewpoints and experience. He has also brought a modern perspective as a professional maritime archaeologist to the faculty.

Dan’s professional background as a maritime archaeologist is exemplary, having been employed on projects around the world. More recently he has conducted surveys and excavations on a series of Protected Wrecks within UK Waters, including the Northumberland and the Hazardous.

His job comes to an end on the 30th of November 2024. This is a petition asking for students and faculty members to plead for Dan to remain as a lecturer with the department.
