Cripps creek is one of the only major waterways on the tasman peninsula!  It starts at highcroft and ends in white beach, with an abundance of  water birds such as great egrets,sea eagles black swans,colonies of cormerants,native ducks and a plethora of smaller birds, not to mention other wildlife, and even sightings of platypus .Since the building of the bridge it has deteriorated dramatically, it used to run with the tide , now the water comes in and can't get out. Due to the bridges poor construction sand builds up and can't go back out. The sand level has risen by at least 1 metre at the bridge and the result is poor water flow The amount of slime, and some kind of algae that has formed in the creek the last few years is choking the creek and turning into a waste land.We need to make this a waterway of signifigance. ITS TIME TO FIX THE BRIDGE before it's to late and our lovely environment will be no more, so give me some love with a like please and lets get this fixed.
