Golf is NOT dying Mr Mayor!

In spite of attempts by those who are intent on destroying an iconic golf course to paint golf as a dying sport, latest figures received from Council show that usage of Chamberlain Park has increased by a massive 45% in the first four months of this financial year when compared to last year.

No doubt this increased usage will translate into a major increase in revenue for the course as it is unlikely that there was any significant increase in expenses.

Chamberlain Park continues to be profitable, in spite of increased costs last year arising from wind-storm damage, and there is every indication that this trend will continue in spite of the efforts of those who are intent on reducing revenue from the course.
