"Lack of Green Space" is one of the misleading statements Peter Haynes, the chair of the Albert-Eden Local Board (and lowest polling candidate) states frequently and incorrectly.
His AELB area cuts off at Chamberlain Park’s Northern Boundary and he conveniently discounts, in fact completely ignores the lovely Parks and Reserves to the North of his ‘patch’; all easily accessible to his Electorate……………and in fact used enthusiastically by them! All 68 !! The lovely Western Springs, Zoo and Meola Reserve are just over the motorway to the north and Fowlds Park to the East over St Lukes Rd!
Build a pedestrian/cycle over bridge for a fraction of the amount proposed to carve up Chamberlain, Peter!
