We believe it is wrong to expand one organization’s mission by eliminating another thriving Jewish community. Camp Lavi is not an empty property—it is a living, vibrant home for hundreds of children, dedicated staff, alumni, and families whose lives have been shaped by this extraordinary camp.

The Jewish community should be building together, not replacing one another. There are countless ways for Ohel to expand without closing a beloved camp that has served generations of Jewish children.

We respectfully ask Ohel to step away from this purchase and ask the court to reject any sale that would result in Camp Lavi’s closure. Growth should never come at the expense of displacing hundreds of children or erasing a community that cannot be recreated.
