 Dear Bryan Station Athletic Department & FCPS Athletics,

The termination of Coach Dodsworth and her staff; Coach Maliq, Coach Isaiah, and Coach Taylor is unethical and unlawful at best. The players and students have had no information regarding the termination of the best track coaching staff this school has had in years. Aside from the amazing personal relationships this staff, especially Head Coach Dodsworth, has made with her players, these coaches are amazing at their jobs and we as a team are not okay with them being terminated, especially with no context.

In response, below is a petition to reinstate Coach Dodsworth and her staff. First of all, we ask for an explanation of the situation regarding the termination of our coaches at least, even if reinstatement is not possible.

Finally, we ask for more consideration with the football team in their off season. We have not been able to use the weight room as often as needed because the football team has frequently been using it in their off season. This negatively impacts our active season conditioning. Please consider the mental and physical impact the termination decision has on the athletes. The team is very upset with this decision. We will not be attending practice until a decision on this has been determined.
