Save Battlefront II

Save Battlefront II
The Issue
Star Wars Battlefront II is the best multiplayer experience in the Star Wars galaxy. Sadly the game is currently in a state of accelerating decay.
Public lobbies are no longer monitored by EA. Yet EA still continues to charge users to play a broken experience. This is shameful.
A handful of hackers using exploits, are destroying the experience for everyone else. They aren't cheating to win, or even to level up their characters, they're cheating to "rage bait" an entire lobby of regular players. Players aren't angry at just the hackers. We blame EA.
We are not asking for new content, maps, or hero balancing. We are asking for the bare minimum of maintenance to keep this product functional for multiplayer experiences.
Recently, EA successfully implemented EA Anti-Cheat (EAAC) into Battlefield V—another "legacy" title that faced similar hacking issues. This single update revitalized that game's community and proved that EA has the tools to protect its older titles. We demand that EA brings this same kernel-level protection to Battlefront II.
We also request that EA renew it's effort to ban user reported hackers.
If EA continues to sell Battlefront II, they should have a responsibility to provide a functional environment for it to be played. Allowing a small group of hackers to hold an entire community hostage doesn't look good for EA.
We are begging EA to save Battlefront. Stop the hackers. Give us back our favorite multiplayer Star Wars game. Let the community stay alive a little longer.
