The Issue

Barking Better Extreme skatepark is under review and at risk of closure.
We ask for the park to be protected.

We are a passionate and diverse community of all ages.  We are committed to supporting the longevity of the park and ask Better to work  with us to help the park thrive.

Barking Better Extreme is the only indoor skatepark of its kind in London.

Barking offers a lifeline to a diverse community of all ages, those in the local area and beyond.
Skateboarders, Scooter riders, BMXers, Rollerskaters.
Our sports are growing, but safe, weatherproof spaces to practice are fast disappearing.
It’s a really special space, essential to our sports but also mental well-being.
It gives us a safe space to be active, meet people,  make friendships, relax.
It is a space with so much potential. The impact of losing it would be far reaching and devastating.
