Save Babylon’s Fall

Save Babylon’s Fall
The Issue
Platinum’s first foray into live-service was an ambitious one. Many feel it sadly did not live up to what could have been, and yet, a small, tight-knit community has remained, still grinding the Battle Pass to this day.
However, on the 13th of September, it was announced that the game’s service would be terminated at the end of February 2023. While it may not have come as a surprise, it was still a big shock to many.
I, for one, am growing tired of the industry’s complete lack of preservation. If it’s not profitable, it’s tossed to the wayside. We’ve seen many live service games become digital paperweights over the years (such as the recent Super Bomberman R Online or the infamous Battleborne).
I don’t think this game deserves the same fate. The most realistic option here is to just let players play the game offline. I’m not asking for much, as the missions are certainly completable in singleplayer - only a few abilities would be made redundant. This, however, is a much more desirable outcome than nobody being able to experience this game ever again.
Not many gave this game a chance when it came out. I am hoping to give it one last bit of support before the worst happens. Please, help me in trying to save a part of Platinum’s history. Thank you.
