Save Ardrossan Harbour

Save Ardrossan Harbour
The Issue
We the undernoted, petition the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government,
To begin the promised, necessary, urgent and required refurbishment and redevelopment of Ardrossan Harbour to accommodate the new vessels Glen Sannox and Glen Rosa to continue this vital, near 200 year old, lifeline service between Ardrossan and Brodick.
To commit to transparent public discussions with all stakeholders, including Save Ardrossan Harbour.
To commit to a financial support package for the social and economic communities of Ardrossan and Arran who are suffering economic and reputational damage as a result of the continued delayed works at Ardrossan Harbour.
Ardrossan to Brodick is the busiest passenger route in Scotland and is a vital part of Scotland’s national infrastructure. We demand urgent action, transparent planning, and the necessary financial backing to safeguard Ardrossan Harbour and its ferry service, preserving the livelihood of our communities for generations to come.
