I am writing in hopes for your help. Our dog Gracie is in the shelter In Aiken. Code enforcement picked her up and I can’t get her back.  The ticket was for creating a nuisance . In all fairness and accountability,Gracie was off the property and in my neighbors driveway . No one was hurt no property was hurt she was not aggressive nor did she attack or bother the property or residents . She did bark at their chihuahuas that was in a kennel on the driveway. Gracie has never bitten or attacked anything ever. She gets a discount at the vet when getting her nails trimmed. We take her out to SRP park around lots of other animals as well as people and never had their been any complaints or reports on Gracie. My neighbor provokes her , antagonizes her shoots automatic weapons all hours day and night and threatens not only her but myself. He tries to bribe  my  3 daughter with payment of $300 if they will give him Gracie. He has went as far as pulling a gun in my landlord face in front of my children because of Gracie.
Again She was off the property and I paid the $1087.00 fine for her actions . I have paid half on a fence to go between my property and my neighbors property closing their back yard for  reassurance. I also fenced in my entire backyard with 8 ft privacy panels for extra precaution. Gracie is chipped and has a corrective collar as well as a shock collar. I also have USAA renters insurance to cover Gracie and the cost of any damages up to $100,00 if Gracie does anything to a person or property.

I have ADHD, depression, severe anxiety disorder , I have been on the same medication  and treatment since 2004 last year my doctor retired and I have been struggling to find a new one but either no one is excepting new medicade patients or it’s self pay and I can’t afford the initial visit. It has had a large impact on my entire life and every aspect. I have trouble getting places on time. They have taken Me off the schedule at work so they didn’t fire me for being late . It’s a daily struggle. I tell you this because I missed court for Gracie a year ago for animal at large . The Judge deemed her dangerous because I was late and missed and  therefore  his decision was done and I paid the fine got the insurance and had her registered in my county. Because she is deemed “dangerous “ no rescue or adoption can take place and the only option is to euthanize. I have reached out to Over 60 rescues from here to North Carolina and I have 30 people willing to take Gracie if able. 
Shes not dangerous at all she is protective of my children and myself that’s what she was trained to do. 
Please don’t let them put my dog down. If you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated . I know your very busy but I’m worried and need some help. The kids believe she’s at a friends house and I haven’t slept a entire night since she has been gone. Please sign and advise is again appreciated.
