We are deeply concerned at the news that Sydney’s much loved cultural and journalistic pillar, 2SER-FM, could be terminated as soon as July. We call on the University Of Technology to pledge to ongoing financial support for the station, with or without other funding partners, into 2027 and beyond. 2SER provides a vital service to the Sydney community, through its support of music, arts, culture and independent journalism. As well as being a critical training ground for future generations. To close the station is not an option.
