Task Group to be formed - Petition is working :-)

PETITION Update: Found it quite comical that Tom Watson MP on his FB profile asking for people to "sign up" to get updates on the Delves Green Common even though it's not his constituency. Plenty of areas in WBE have had problems Tom what have you been doing to help them. We asked for his support and have even offered to meet. His reaction was to delete my post from his page. Pure opportunism and we deserve better. Sandwell Council have acknowledged receipt of petition and I look forward to them advising further. In the meantime the Express & Star have today reported that a "New" joint task group to tackle the traveller camp problem is being formed. This is one of the things we have requested amongst other things and I will keep pushing and asking for the community to be involved further. At least, at long last we are being listened to, we have to make sure though that we are engaged in the decision making and ensure it's right for our community and not the politicians. Will update more when I receive any other communication.
