Hi Guys, Last night, our city council voted 5 - 0, in favor of terminating the Norris/Executive Parkway HOV ramp proposal! Mayor Clarkson submitted an amended list of issues to the initial resolution, essentially dealing with making sure that agencies involved with this project terminate all future work on the proposal. This was passed in conjunction with the original resolution. I will keep this petition open, until I hear that CCTA has officially closed down work on this ramp issue, so there may be a couple of more updates. One cautionary note. Dave Hudson responded to a question. In 2010, there was a letter sent from the San Ramon City Council to CCTA, telling CCTA that San Ramon approved of putting HOV ramps on Norris. The question: was there a forum for the public to comment on this letter of approval. Dave indicated there was, but no one showed up. There will be other "ramp proposals" in the future.
