Since this petition began, we’ve formed a nonprofit (San Luis Obispo Community Ice Rink), completed a feasibility study with Cal Poly, evaluated multiple appropriately zoned sites, and presented the project to City Council. The message we’ve heard is clear: show strong public support, and the door opens wider.

This rink would serve kids, families, and adults of all ages 🏒⛸️ — supporting hockey, figure skating, learn-to-skate programs, and public skating — while also functioning as a concert, event, and convention venue when the ice isn’t in use.
