The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care & Control (LACDACC) recently enacted a volunteer policy that prevents them from publicly sharing information about incidents involving animals, including the unfortunate case of Mr. Pickles, a young and friendly cat who was KILLED (some say murdered) despite being labeled as "feral" and "dangerous." Volunteers are at risk of termination if they discuss such events, even on their personal social media accounts. Moreover, the policy requires volunteers to use euphemisms like "put to sleep" or "euthanized" instead of stating that an animal was "KILLED," which can obscure the true nature of the act. This policy is not only concerning but also raises legal issues, prompting an investigation by the Board of Supervisors.
In my opinion, it's time to FIRE the people running LA County Animal Control. If we don't see some changes soon, we need to elect A NEW BOARD OF SUPERVISORS who actually have courage to SAVE LIVES from being KILLED (some say murdered) from the hands of these BUTCHERERS.
