Samsung has canceled the update to Android 5.0 because of
1) due to memory issues
2) It will not give the optimal user experience for the users, after comprehensive testing process.

So the international versions of the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini (GT-I9190, GT-I9192 and GT-I9195) will not receive an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Because of this, some people in forums are complaining that they will even ditch Samsung as a brand for their smartphone.

If the reason truly was due to memory limitation, how does a device such as the SM-G360F which has the same amount of internal memory (8GB), and even has LESS RAM (1GB while the S4 mini has 1.5GB) still be able to get an update and offer an optimal user experience. Let's not forget that Lollipop itself was supposed to be a more optimized version of Android.

The device hasn't even reached its 2 years anniversary yet and its firmware support already ends.

So we, the Galaxy S4 mini users ask for Samsung to find a way to update our device even if they have to cut down on some pre-installed applications that come with it.

This is a petition to show how many people use Samsung's Galaxy S4 mini who want to see the update on their device.
