The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0" (2016) is a great device however most of its drawbacks (low storage) can be fixed via software tweaks. It does not make sense for this device to have a locked bootloader especially for unsubsidized versions (it lacks knox and samsung pay anyway). Furthermore, the system partition can be oem unlocked anyway I see no reason that would prevent Samsung to go all the way and unlock the bootloader as well. Being able to fully write custom software for this device will certainly improve sales and as well support of the community.
