A section of road between McCombs and Dyer Street is Sean Haggerty Drive. This road travels east to west and is not connected heading east to Angora Loop St. There is a barrier that blocks flow for pedestrians, motorists, and bicyclists in Northeast El Paso. This barrier means travelers are forced to add extra mileage and time to their commute. This barrier is also creating increased traffic congestion as well.

The connection of Sean Haggerty running east and west to Angora Loop would provide a vital link for travelers to their destinations. This connection serves North Star and Desertaire Elementary Schools, business, and would create a common sense route for emergency and first responders traveling on Sean Haggerty Drive.

Connecting Sean Haggerty for our community would reduce distance, time, and traffic. Trips to see friends, family, or school that are too far to walk or bicycle due to this barrier can be resolved. This connection would serve as an important artery for not only the northeast but for an expanding El Paso.
