Fiona Bennett's album 'A Country Suite' was voted into the Classic FM Top 300 'Hall of Fame' in 2015. The album received NO airplay during the following 12 months. Fiona persevered and in 2016, both A Country Suite' AND 'The New Lady Radnor Suite' (Fiona's second classical album) were voted into the Top 300 Hall of Fame. Classic FM DOES NOT play Fiona's music, despite her music having been voted into their very own chart two years running. She has advertised on the station, spending best part of £100,000 on a radio advertising campaign plus a 'flashmob' video at St. Pancras Station in conjunction with Global Radio advertising.

Fiona is a supporter of the Retired Greyhound Trust and is selling her albums in order to help raise funds to home more hounds. If Classic FM played her music (the music actually in their chart), she would sell more albums and be able to give more money to the charity. If the music were not suited to their audience/playlist, they wouldn't allow it to be a part of the Hall of Fame voting system and they certainly wouldn't play it on this, the world's biggest classical music station but over Easter in 2015 and 2016, music from both albums was played during the Top 300 countdown, fitting in well with the other pieces voted for by the public.
