Sale Central Scout group has issued a termination notice to Outburst After School Club (www.outburstkids.co.uk)  Rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted, Outburst offers wrap around childcare to over 80 children from Brooklands Primary School.  The club is loved by children and valued by parents for the holistic, nurturing childcare it provides.

Outburst lets kids be kids.  From building fires to toast marshmallows, tag games with torches in the dark or the "archeological dig" out back, put simply, kids have a ball.  The multicultural and enthusiastic staff treat each child as an individual and their passion for the club is truly incredible.  

We the undersigned ask Sale Central Scout Group to reconsider their decision to evict Outburst.  There is no practical, alternative venue for Outburst to use which is close enough to school.  As a result, Outburst will close for good at the end of this academic year.  

Scouting "exists to engage and support young people in their personal development".  Outburst does this too and fees from Outburst have helped to renovate Sale Central Scout Hut, bringing this valued community building back from the brink. Nowadays, we all need to care for our treasured community services - Sale Scouts, please reconsider!
