The circumstances surrounding the recent deaths of  Christopher Kapessa 13 years old who was found dead in the River Cynon, Fernhill, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Wales and Shukri Yahya Abdi 12 years old, who was reportedly found dead in the River Irwell Bury, Lancashire are giving rise to suspicion around the circumstances of both childrens sudden and tragic deaths. 

Both were perviously victims of racist, bullying and racism. Neither child can swim and both had a fear of water. Both parents are deeply dissatisfied with the answers that they have been being by South wales and Greater Manchester Police, in relation to the deaths of their children.

We call upon the Home Secretary, the Attorney General Chief Constables of South Wales and Greater Manchester Police to ensure that we are not witnessing, a repeat of the systemic failures associated with the racist murder of Stephen Lawrence, and provide reassurance to an increasing anxious British black community in relation to these deaths. #BlackChildrensLivesMatter
