Thank you for your support of this petition. I have brilliant news!

Sainsburys have added a 'FareShare donation' button to online grocery shopping. 

It's not immediately obvious - you can search 'Fareshare' but the website will also include it on the 'Before you go' page before checkout.

This is huge news and so exciting; whilst it's not exactly what our petition called for, this means we are now able to donate to foodbanks whilst still in lockdown and into the future as well, enabling us to support our communities when food shopping from home.
