It's time to get Sainsburys' attention. Please share the petition on social media targeting @sainsburys @sainsburysnews as well as @guardian @bbclondonnews @bootstrapcook

Tag your posts with the hashtags:  #FoodbankButton #AddtoFoodbank

Message the petition to Sainsbury's - Facebook.com/sainsburys with the following message:

"This petition for a 'Donate to Foodbank' button for online grocery shopping has had almost 50,000 signatures. The public has shown there is enormous enthusiasm for a quick and simple way to continue donating food to foodbanks during the pandemic now that so many of us are shopping from home instead of in-store. With children being homeschooled, many families' food bills have gone up and the Trussell Trust forecasts a 61% increase in food parcels needed across its UK network in October to December – six parcels given out every minute. Families are the hardest hit. Our communites' most vulnerable people can't afford to wait and need you to act on this now."
