This petition is addressed to the parent company MG because HS and EHS cars have some rather serious and frequent problems.
The petition also concerns other SAIC MOTOR cars that have similar problems.

1) The most glaring problem is caused by the freezing of the infoteinment system in the central screen. According to surveys, it affects more than 50% of the EHS sold and lots of ZS, and therefore MUST be resolved by MG.
For unknown reasons and in different situations the central monitor (which governs infotainment, air conditioning, 360 ° cameras, etc.) stops and restarts after a few minutes. Cases of shutdown without restart have also been documented. This should be solved with a software or hardware update, and must be solved because it inhibits fundamental functions for the correct functioning of the car: air conditioning, 360 ° cameras and can create dangerous situations.

2) Another important problem is a dangerous power gap around 75 km / h in EV mode. The vacuum is caused by the shifting of the electric motor. We believe that it can be solved via software by managing the gear change differently.
This problem most likely affects lots of MG cars as well.

3) At the moment the non-European versions of the HS car are equipped with a sim card for remote control via the official MG iSmart app. We do not understand why this cannot be integrated on the EHS, perhaps in conjunction with the resolution of the monitor problem. For example by replacing the hardware. This would be an injection of confidence in European users by the MG brand.

4) The management of the hybrid system is extremely "elementary" at a constant high speed. The battery is not used at all, and is actually recharged at a constant rate. This increases the fuel consumption. It would be nice to modify the management of the hybrid system via software to ensure that the battery is also used on the motorway, perhaps at the user's choice.

We understand that these problems can be difficult to solve for a young brand like MG, but we trust that SIAC has the ability to listen to the demands of the European market.
MG are great cars, and a satisfied customer brings a lot of free advertising.

Questa petizione è rivolta alla casa madre MG e SAIC MOTOR perché le automobili HS e le EHS hanno alcuni problemi piuttosto gravi e frequenti. La petizione riguarda altresì altre vetture SAIC MOTOR che presentano i problemi simili.

1) Il problema più vistoso è causato dal blocco del sistema infoteinment nello schermo centrale. In base ai sondaggi riguarda più del 50% delle EHS vendute, e quindi DEVE essere risolto da MG.
Per cause sconosciute e in situazioni diverse il monitor centrale (che governa infotainment, aria condizionata, telecamere 360° ecc) si blocca e si riavvia dopo alcuni minuti. Sono stati documentati anche casi di spegnimento senza riavvio. Questo si dovrebbe risolvere con aggiornamento software o hardware, e va risolto perché inibisce funzioni fondamentali per il funzionamento corretto dell'auto: aria condizionata, telecamere 360° e può creare situazioni pericolose.

2)  Un altro problema importante è un pericoloso vuoto di potenza intorno ai 75 km/h nella modalità EV. Il vuoto è causato dal cambio di marcia del motore elettrico. Crediamo che possa essere risolto via software gestendo diversamente il cambio marcia.
Questo problema riguarda molto probabilmente anche altre auto di casa MG.

3) Al momento le versioni non europee dell'auto HS sono provviste di scheda sim per il controllo a distanza tramite app ufficiale MG iSmart. Non comprendiamo perché questo non possa essere integrato sulle EHS, magari in concomitanza con la risoluzione del problema monitor. Ad esempio sostituendo l'hardware. Questo sarebbe un iniezione di fiducia negli utenti europei da parte del marchio MG.

4) La gestione del sistema ibrido è estremamente "elementare" ad alta velocità costante. La batteria non viene per niente utilizzata, e anzi viene ricaricata a velocità costante. Questo aumenta i consumi della benzina. Sarebbe bello modificare via software la gestione del sistema ibrido per fare in modo che la batteria venga utilizzata anche in autostrada, magari a scelta dell'utente.

Comprendiamo che questi problemi possano risultare difficili da risolvere per un marchio giovane come MG, ma confidiamo che SIAC abbia la capacità di ascoltare le richieste del mercato europeo.
Le EHS sono vetture fantastiche, e un cliente soddisfatto porta molta pubblicità gratuita.
Io stesso sono stato fermato più volte da persone curiose e ho cercato di mostrare quanto ha di buono l'auto.
