As a resident of this path and a firefighter dedicated to improving our community, I am deeply concerned about the safety of pedestrians and motorist along Kenway Street and Chote cemetery road. This stretch of road from Cookeville High School to North Dixie Avenue is extremely dangerous and has already seen multiple fatalities. To prevent further tragedies, we urgently need to widen the roadway, add sidewalks, and improve lighting. These changes will ensure safer travel for students and residents alike.
