Our children are currently without their most trusted adult; the person who makes them feel safe, valued, and excited to learn every single day. Her absence is felt deeply in their little hearts, and the emotional impact on these six-year-olds is immediate and profound. She is a steady, caring presence and the heart of our classroom family.

Her presence is not just comforting to our children; it is essential for their learning, development and emotional well-being. MIss Paul plays a crucial role in fostering an environment where children feel protected, happy, and eager to engage. The teacher significantly shapes students’ perceptions of school and their overall educational experience. In the 3 days she had been absent from the classroom, our children are absolutely heartbroken and desperately awaiting her return.

Miss Paul is forever our sunshine, and we need her back.

But her return is only one part of the solution. We also demand improved classroom conditions. No child should feel scared to go to school. This is a classroom, and we treat one another with respect. It is never acceptable to hurt someone with our words or our actions. Everyone here deserves to feel safe, and we all help create that kind of environment.

Adopting these or similar measures will create a classroom environment where all children can truly flourish. We owe it to our kids and to the educators who dedicate their lives to them to provide safer and more nurturing school experiences.

Join us in demanding change for the better. Sign this petition and help us return our teacher to the classroom. She is much more than an educator to our children, she is a beacon of hope and sunshine in our lives. Together, we can ensure this teacher’s legacy is both preserved and strengthened.
