Pittencrieff Park is in the heart of Dunfermline - a place where families walk, children play, and residents of all ages enjoy the peace and beauty of the Glen. But too many people no longer feel safe, especially in quieter areas and during evenings. Incidents and long standing concerns have made one thing clear: The Glen needs proper CCTV and a maintenance programme that keeps it working all year round.

That's why we have launched  SAFE IN THE GLEN, a community led petition calling on Fife Council to act without delay and 

Install modern CCTV at key entrances, paths and vulnerable areas

Introduce a funded maintenance programme with regular inspections and repairs.

These are practicle, proven measures used across Scotland to deter antisocial behaviour,support Police investigations and help residents feel Safe again. 

This is about Protecting Women and Girls and Children, not surveillance for its own sake. Everyone should be able to enjoy Pittencrieff Park without fear.
