It is time to officially declare victory and close this petition!

The temporary roundabout at Twin Hickory Lake Drive, Hearthstone Drive, and Hickory Bend Drive has now been permanently installed—and the impact on our community has been truly transformative.

Over the past year since construction was completed, we've seen a dramatic reduction in vehicle speeds at this intersection—from an average of 45 mph down to just 17 mph. This simple change has made our neighborhood significantly safer, especially for our children, pedestrians, school-goers, dog-walkers, and anyone who walks, bikes, or drives through the area.

This milestone would not have been possible without your support. Over 350 of you added your names to this cause, amplifying the urgency of addressing a long-standing safety hazard. Your voices—combined with thoughtful engagement from Henrico County officials—helped drive a solution that works.

I'm deeply grateful to:

• Terrell Hughes, Director of Public Works of the Department of Public Utilities, for overseeing the technical and operational aspects of the roundabout;
