

Families in Nocturne Ridge and Dorado Sky Court finally have safe access through a simple footbridge after years of waiting for a pedestrian connection to the main walking paths that every other nearby street already has.
For years, kids, parents, and dog walkers have been forced to cross the creek or walk over a quarter mile around just to reach trails, parks, and school routes. This access was discussed with the builders and Howard Hughes but never materialized.
This bridge is not meant to be permanent or decorative. It was built to reduce daily safety risks involving slippery creek crossings, wildlife hazards, and prior near-miss traffic incidents involving children.
We have now been told the bridge may need to be removed. Before that happens, we want neighbors to understand why it was built and why safe pedestrian access matters.
