4 weeks after the public meeting at the city hall hosted by project consultant DHI, the public yet to see any official document regarding the environmental impact assessment of the Tanjung Aru Eco Development project. DHI previously announced in the meeting that the document will be available via EPD website for public review by 15 September 2016, and the public will have about a month to submit feed back regarding to the project. It is important to know that the process of public consultation will not stop TAED project but it can give an insight look over what to be happen to Tanjung Aru beach and its natural surrounding during the construction activities. The recent public meeting has exposed more destructive mitigation method proposed by the project consultant in order to meet the project proponent (TAED) objective and demand which mostly destructive to its natural inhabitant. We own our children and future generation to inherit this beautiful iconic Tanjung Aru beach to them intact and properly maintained accordingly and not by have it destroyed in order to build an exclusive hotel, resort and golf course which less than 0% of the public will benefit from it. Only when the residents which are the professionals and experts to come out and express their objection of this project, it will only can be stopped by the order from the Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman himself. So, it is important to sign, comment and share this online petition to demand CM Musa Aman to honor his promise and rightfully return Tanjung Aru beach back to the people. ***
