Background to petition- 

The State Government must cater for growth by giving the people in growth areas more options with respect to public transport and it must do this sustainably with growth and not after. 

Petition- 

We, the undersigned residents, request that the Department of Infrastructure and Transport, conduct a survey of residents in the growth areas to determine the need and demand for additional public transport, including services on weekends. Such a survey is to also consider linking growth communities (including townships) to other townships such as Angle Vale, Virginia and Riverlea and to metropolitan areas such as Elizabeth, Gawler and Munno Para as well as the Adelaide CBD.
