We had an eventful planning committee meeting tonight with a packed public gallery and passions running high. Terrific speeches against the proposal were followed by vociferous protests against remarks by one councillor. That led to the police being called to clear the public gallery. Nonetheless the final decision is that we won (6-4). Your help has been amazing and we've won a huge battle in making sure there will be no pig factory in Grandborough.
