At present there is no requirement for Ships working the UK sector to be manned with UK crews. We are now seeing UK Officers and Crew being made redundant and replaced with Asian Officers and Crew. This is both illegal and immoral. British Seafarers need protection, and this requires a change in Law. We are asking that, Vessels working the UK sector are required to be manned by UK Officers and Crew. This would Protect UK Seafarers and provide valuable revenue to the UK.
