UK Citizens demand the Right to Vote

UK Citizens demand the Right to Vote

The Issue

I wish to draw attention to the scandalous denial of Voting Rights to British expats who have lived outside the UK for more than 15 years. I am one of around two million U.K. citizens living in the EU, who will be unable to vote in the forthcoming Referendum - a Referendum that dramatically affects our future and our right to live in another European country.

I believe that the UK should enable and encourage ALL its expat citizens - not just some of them - to participate fully in the political process in their country of birth, by giving them unrestricted Voting Rights in National Elections and in the Referendum taking place on the 23rd June 2016. To deny our Right to Vote is UNDEMOCRATIC.
