Dear Readers
Below an email sent to Tess Vickery, who responded on behalf of Emma Hurst, Animal Justice Party Senator, NSW.
I hope readers will be able to ask Emma (maybe via Tess) why there seems to be such disinterest from the AJP over the issues I have brought to their attention in many emails. Needless to say I have not as yet received any answer to this last email, and after all the years I have tried so may sources to take action I do not expect any meaningful response!
I have also not received any response from the Office of the Premier NSW to my emails either. This is in direct breech of their correspondence policy.
The photo shows Spotty when she was still alive and had endured about 6 years of solitary confinement!
Readers, thanks for all your assistance, Keith

Dear Tess,
I thank you for your email of the 4 Feb 2022 on behalf of Emma Hurst, NSW Senator, Animal Justice Party.
You state `Ms Hurst also wrote to the RSPCA NSW about the same time to inquire about Spotty’s condition and got a similar response to you and others that enquired (eg that Spotty had food and shelter and water and was being cared for, and there was no legal basis to remove and rehome him). We were very sad to hear about Spotty’s passing’.
So from what you have said it appears that the RSPCA NSW have not only told untruths to the readers of my change.org petition page (Tell the RSPCA NSW That this is Cruel!), but also to a State Senator, namely Emma!
In the rest of your email you have given me information that I did not enquire about, such as problems with animal cruelty laws in NSW and what you consider is my best way to continue to advocate for the cats at Camp Kitty by submitting submissions to different inquiries.
Unfortunately I cannot advocate for the cats at Camp Kitty as I believe they are all now dead! Certainly Spotty is dead, and I believe the other 200 cats that were at CK are also dead! Spotty has now been dead for over a year.
I consider the best way forward is the following -
1.That Emma writes to the RSPCA NSW and ask them why they told an untruth by stating that Spotty was being cared for, no basis to rehome him etc. when poor Spotty was dead!
2. Why Spotty was never given its rights under POCTA, and neither did all those other cats.
3. Why the RSPCA NSW always stated that `there were no welfare issues at CK’ when I provided many photos to the RSPCA NSW which demonstrated animal abuse at Camp Kitty
4. That Emma writes to the Premier of NSW and asks that his Office answers the questions that have been put to his Office many times and gets answers to those questions, and why the RSPCA NSW can receive over a million dollars a year from the taxpayer and can apparently not be accountable to those taxpayers; also enquire why the NSW Government appears to be quite content with that arrangement!
5. That Emma states her intention to write to Independent Commission against Corruption if she does not get a satisfactory response from the NSW Government regarding accountability and funding of the RSPCA NSW.
6. That Emma also informs the other AJP Senator, Mark Pearson and urges him to take an interest in this case.
7.That you and Emma overcome your sadness regarding Spotty’s passing and redirect your energies to effect change so that this does not happen to any other animal.
I hope that Emma will be able to do this and restore faith in the Animal Justice Party to the readers of my petition page, and to many others who will be soon voting in upcoming elections. Many find it strange that I have had to write 3 times to get a response from the AJP, and also when I started this petition and tried to involve Mark Pearson (the other AJP Senator) in taking action he initially expressed interest and then did not respond to emails sent him.
At the moment I am being asked to help in the drive to get AJP members elected to Parliament in South Australia, and I am questioning whether this would be a worthwhile activity.
So please restore my faith in the AJP and their ability and interest to make animal welfare issues throughout Australia a reality.
Any reply I receive will be printed on my change.org petition page as will this correspondence.
I can also send many photos of the welfare abuses that took place at CK if you so required, and also of Spotty when she was suffering her 6 years of isolation and denial of her POCTA rights at CK.
Regards Keith
