Dear Readers, since my last update a reader has recently given me some important information(see below). Unfortunately personal circumstances have prevented me from making representations to Senator Mark Pearson of late, but he has been kept well aware of the circumstances at Camp Kitty in the past, and I hope he has used that information I have provided him.

I urge any reader who has the time to please pursue this with him, and also to check and sign the other change.org petitions that not only expose animal cruelty in NSW but in other States.

ps more about Camp Kitty next update (hopefully fairly soon). The photo was taken when the RSPCA NSW were saying `there were no welfare issues’. The cat laying down is dead.

The Legislative Council has selected a Committee on Animal Cruelty Laws in New South Wales. This committee was established on 8 August 2019 to inquire and report on the effectiveness of arrangements for the administration and enforcement of the laws of New South Wales for the protection of animals from cruelty. The Chair is Mark Pearson (AJP, LC Member).
As part of this inquiry, the committee is seeking the views of interested stakeholders via an online questionnaire (you can also make a more detailed submission if you wish). Responses are due by Friday 29 November 2019.
