Dress code inequality is a major issue in many schools across the globe. School administration has implemented a sexist policy that promotes the sexualization of female students. Our schools have the power to change the way our society thinks about women, and we seek to empower them to do so. By denying female students the right to wear crop tops or tank tops, the school is enabling a misogynistic standard that underage womens' midriffs and shoulders are provocative. We want to change the dress code that allows women to wear crop tops and tank tops.
