Royal Mail is considering plans to close the local sorting office in Hampton and relocate Hampton delivery operations over 4 miles away to Ashford.

Poor transport links between Hampton and the site of the Ashford delivery office will make journeys for local residents difficult and time consuming, especially for elderly, disabled or people who work during the week.

We call for Royal Mail to reconsider their plans on closing the local delivery office in Hampton, or make adequate arrangements with local Post Offices to allow residents to collect their mail from a more local, easier location.
