Royal Mail must update advertised delivery speeds to reflect their actual delivery speeds

Since the Pandemic in 2020, 2021 Royal Mail have still not really recovered and instead of being honest with the UK public they still advertise a service that most of the time does just not exist. Many letters, large letters and parcels either never get delivered or delivered weeks later. This causes so much unwanted stress for personal and business customers alike. If you are reading this I am sure you have been there. Instead of Royal Mail picking up the pieces they leave the UK to be picking up behind them and that is not acceptable.
We want transparency and accountability from Royal Mail !
We want their advertised delivery speeds changed to reflect their actual delivery speeds.
There is mass discrepancy between what they say they will do, what you pay for and what you get.
We want Royal Mail to change their advertised delivery speeds for the following services.
1st Class standard post. (stated speed 1 day)
2nd Class standard post. (stated speed 2 to 3 days),
24 Standard untracked post. (stated speed 1 day),
48 Standard untracked post, (stated speed 2 to 3 days),
Whether you are personal user of Royal Mail or a business user it does not matter as you are all as important. If you are tired of Royal Mails poor service records its time for your voice to be heard. Having delays and things go missing not only causes so much stress but costs you money.
Ask yourself this. Why should we as a country sit back and pay for a service that never matches its reality. Why should we accept it and why should we continue to do so? The phrase "that's just how it is" is no good enough any more. It just does not serve us anything good. We all need to step up if we want change.
Remember, if you do nothing, nothing will happen.
